Nicknames Aren't Always a Good Thing

Will is in 2nd grade.  Yesterday his teacher went around the room and had the children share nicknames or pet names their parents called them.  Oh boy.  Really? 

When Will started telling me this story I knew it was going to get ugly really fast.  OK, I admit, I have a pet name for both my kids and it has just stuck.  However, it is not one to be used in public.  Are you scared yet?  I've shared it before in a previous post.  Let it be known that I have other names that are fine for the common man to hear.

His turn comes and he prefaces it with, "OK, guys I know you aren't going to believe this one but it is true.  My mom calls me "boobie."
