A Card To Brighten My Day
Feels good to be back home, in a NORMAL time zone :) My bed never felt so good. I had a darling card waiting for me from dear Grandma when I got home.
"I can't figure out what happened. Motherhood used to SEEM so simple. I was full of wisdom, calm and self-assured, prepared in every situation...then I had kids."
My add- on would include...
"Thank the Lord for good medication!" :) :)
I love the verse that accompanied it...
"We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon you."
2 Chronicles 20:12
Included in my card was a never before seen photo (at least by me) of my parents from 1968. They look so stunning, 'Hollywoodish' and HAPPY. My folks divorced when I was 2 years old and I will always be saddened by it. I will cherish the photo since it depicted a much happier time. Through it all GOD IS GOOD.
Thank you Grandma for sharing it with me.
