Thunderstorms and Luncheons
I'm in the midst of watching a beautiful thunderstorm move in. We don't get the kind in Oregon like Idaho does so I think it is pretty impressive. There is a real beauty about 'big sky country' as I like to call it!
We are settling in for our visit and there is a certain coziness at my in-laws. I have even found my father in law's candy stash! Did I mention he has good taste in candy? We will be doing a 4th of July party, picnics at the park and some day trips. Will and Jaimey are so thrilled to be with their grandparents,busy creating memories they will always cherish.
I went to a luncheon with (7) 80 year old women today. Now, I don't know about you but I love being around women that have walked the path of life. In my mind, they possess a good deal of wisdom and have a lot of lessons to share. This was a kick however, the ladies were talking about chaining themselves to some trees down near the waterway to protest their removal. Gotta love it!

Grandpa does know candy! I used to raid his stash, I'm sure Jadon still does! I am so looking forward to seeing you and spending some time catching up with you tonight. Love you Jess!
