Mr. Goodbyn

Today the children and I made our monthly grocery trip to Whole Foods and Trader Joes. That is usually my big shopping and then I do fill in as needed here in town. Because I was pretty occupied with our Sophie loss I bought way too much of certain things. For instance, I came home with 8 bags of various pastas, 4 boxes of taco shells, 80 million granola bars and 5 different brands of yogurt (?) Whatever. I guess I'm set for a while.

Anyway, part of the trip to Whole Foods included choosing some new lunch boxes for the kids. I wanted some that were free of the nasty BPA's and phthlates lunch boxes are normally made of. I also wanted something I could put in the dishwasher and then recycle down the line if needed. I ALSO wanted to eliminate the use of plastic sandwich bags because I use way too many and I hate that.

Enter Mr. Goodbyn or should I say the Goodbyn Lunchbox. Pretty cool and comes with all the perks I was looking for, including a water bottle. Gotta check them out if you are ever looking. It is the bento style and I love that because it looks purdy! Kids get to choose their own color and the boxes come with stickers to decorate and personalize. Will has already spelled out "Star Wars Rocks" with his.

Check out www.goodbyn.com for additional info. They have a 6 buck coupon going on now that you can use. Of course I discovered that AFTER I purchased the darn things. I'm not gonna lie, they are spendy but I figured in the long run I would be saving instead of buying all those pesky baggies, water bottles, containers, etc.

I take terrible photos but hopefully you can get a sense of what they look like.

I found after looking that Whole Foods actually had the best price and best selection.
