Merry Christmas To All
Well even though Christmas Day is officially over, I am continuing the holiday by playing Christmas music, enjoying Egg Nog lattes and eating a breakfast casserole with a large side of English toffee.
As I write, my children are thoroughly enjoying their Christmas loot. All their grandmas were extremely generous with their gifts to the kids, as usual. Will is ensconced in his latest Lego Star Wars installment. He is working on his latest project, Star Fighter, while wearing his new Star Wars t-shirt. He is extremely intent. Jaimey received a little sewing machine so she is busily figuring it out while I am ready to lose patience over how to thread the needle on a kid friendly machine. By the way, Jaimey was the one who figured it out!
Ray is playing his NCAA 2011 X Box 360 game. Gosh, that sounds like it should be in it's own language. Anyway, it is a college football video game.
Christmas Eve was lovely spent with close friends, a 7 year tradition that we have enjoyed immensely. We are blessed to indulge in Southern style grits with cheese, light, airy rolls, gingered chocolate tarts, champagne, irish coffees and even some fondue. Always a fabulous time.
Emjoy some photos. Peace and love to you this holiday season!
