Come To The Light
Some of you have asked (and rightly so) if the escapades I get into and then blog about are true. I have decided it is time to come clean....
Unfortunately my friends, they are true. They are so very true. It isn't like I go looking for these predicaments to fall into. Wait, scratch that. Maybe I do because they can give me something to blog about :)
Well, in 2 weeks I am turning the big 40. Let it be known I am really struggling with it on 2 levels. One, my maturity level is stuck at the ripe old age of 12 and second, the infinite question arises - what the heck have I done with the years that been given me thus far. I won't bore you with my ramblings on that one Suffice to say there has been the good, the bad and the ugly. But, as I wade through the thing of life I pray the good in my life will squash out the bad! I am more than grateful for faith, family and friends that help make that possible.
Couple things have come to light recently... it disturbs me that:
A) There is a jumbo size of Metamucil that permanently inhabits a spot on my kitchen counter.
B) I experience lack of bladder control during exercise.
C) I take a plethora of meds, including but not limited to, Mature Women's Vitamins and Calcium with D.
D) My OB informed me it was time to establish a baseline mammogram. For the record, make sure you shave BOTH armpits when you go have one done. Trust me on this.
E) I am ready to eat dinner at 4 and ready for bed at 8.
F) I hate driving after dark.
G) I clutch my purse more tightly for fear of being mugged.
F) I consider bright floral blouses as a clothing option
G) I admire outfits designed for the elderly woman
Yep, 40 is gonna be ahhhhhhsummmmmmm!
