Mom With A Martini
I had a nice Mother's Day although my Mom and I did all the cooking. How does that work? Ray got me some beautiful vinca plants that we hope will survive despite our black thumbs.
The kids picked out cards for me and I just had to share what Will's said. On the front it said "A Happy Mom Makes A Happy Home." This was written inside a picture of a martini glass. When he picked it out Ray didn't have the heart to tell him that probably wasn't the best choice. I'm glad he didn't because I thought it WAS the best choice!
Although it makes me wonder why Will associates me with a martini glass....
