End of Season

Yesterday was the last farmers market of the season.  I have a lot of mixed emotions because I have grown really attached to the farmers and vendors.  I have developed some lovely friendships with them and I so respect all the hard work they put in to creating such beautiful harvests.  It has also allowed me the privilege of my creative juices to flow a bit and to be inspired by the blessings of fresh food.

I am tossing around the possibility of the market hosting a fall harvest market (indoors) the Saturday before Thanksgiving.  There would be some nice items available to serve and enjoy for the holidays.  I think it would be a great way to welcome the holidays!
