The Power of Women

I think if women were to write their own life story thus far, they would probably have a best seller on their hands. 

They could take all of the threads of their life, weave it together and create a rich tapestry of joy and heartache.

I have the privilege of knowing a variety of women who are open to sharing their stories, I love to hear them.  They reflect tremendous courage and strong convictions, in addition to a fierce protectiveness over the ones they love.

I have discovered a commonality within the stories and I find it to be a unique one.  Every life story I hear contains a time when someone (relative, family friend, parent, teacher, etc) took quality time to invest in their lives, thereby shaping them into the wonderful ladies they are today.  

I hope I can do the same...
